Applicability:
Caminha Advogados ("Caminha Advogados") is committed to respecting your privacy and adopts the necessary measures to ensure that the processing of your Personal Data takes place in accordance with the best market practices.
The purpose of this privacy policy ("Policy") is to provide you with information on what Personal Data we collect, use and share and for what purposes, in order to provide transparency on how your Personal Data is collected and processed by Caminha Advogados, as data controller.
Personal Data Processed:
Caminha Advogados may process your personal data when you interact with the platform by filling in forms, newsletters or registering for events. In this case, data such as: Your name, Your position and company, e-mail, city, state and country will be processed.
Caminha Advogados may also process personal data when you apply for a position at Caminha Advogados. In this case, we will process the data contained in your CV, such as your name and contact details, professional and educational history, courses and skills, languages spoken and any other information you may enter on your CV.
Employees, former employees and partners:
Registration data: name, first name, corporate e-mail, ID, CPF, marital status, date of birth, telephone number, address, profession, education, professional registration, signature, description of activities carried out for the client (timesheet), date of dismissal, date of admission and changes in position, OAB, cost center, academic certificates, projects carried out, name of manager, driver's license, publications (books, articles, newspapers, magazines), photo, CCTV image, videos.
Behavioral data: professional experience, competency assessment.
Persons who have maintained or maintain a legal relationship with Caminha Lawyers:
Registration data: name, ID, CPF, driver's license, education, e-mail, business address, home address, landline, cell phone, language, job title, company, profession, gender, date of birth, nationality, marital status, signature, photos, videos.
Professionals who have maintained or continue to maintain a business relationship with Caminha Advogados:
Registration data: name, ID, CPF, CNH, PIS, e-mail, business address, home address, landline, cell phone, position, department, company, profession, date of birth, place of birth, marital status, professional registration (e.g. OAB, CRC), signature, photos, videos, CCTV image.
For what purposes Caminha Advogados processes Personal Data:
The Personal Data listed above may be processed by Caminha Advogados for the following purposes:
Subscribing users to newsletters and other office publications;
Register the User for Caminha Advogados events;
Registering and granting access to visitors, suppliers and suppliers' employees to Caminha Advogados' offices; and Negotiating and signing contracts.
In addition, information about devices listed above may be processed in order to comply with legal obligations.
We do not use Users' Personal Data for any purpose other than those described above.
When we delete Personal Data:
We have structured the Platform and our operations so that your Personal Data is not kept in an identified manner for longer than is necessary. In other words, we only keep Personal Data:
(i) during the period in which they are necessary for the purposes described above;
(ii) if we are required to do so by law; or
(iii) for the regular exercise of our rights.
We may keep Personal Data in an anonymized form, i.e. without it being or being able to be linked to a User, for longer periods.
Who else will have access to Personal Data and why?
We may share your Personal Data with third parties contracted to assist us in carrying out the purposes mentioned below:
Business partners, such as reception and event organization companies, including other joint event organizers of Caminha Advogados.
Service providers such as security services, support services and information systems, data processing and storage services, technical support services and auditing services.
Judicial, police, governmental authorities or other third parties with whom we are bound by law, regulatory rule or court order.
Third parties, for the regular exercise of our rights.
International transfer of personal data:
The services provided by Caminha Advogados require the support of a technological infrastructure that may be established outside Brazil, such as servers and cloud services, which may be owned or provided by third parties.
In this sense, Your Personal Data may eventually be transferred. In these and other cases, Caminha Advogados guarantees that it will only hire commercial partners and suppliers that meet reasonable security standards and that it will only share Personal Data that is pertinent, proportional and not excessive for the purposes mentioned in this Policy.
How do we keep secure the Data we process and which is in our custody?
We adopt safety standards in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, such as:
Training, governance, internal security policies;
Control of storage on own or contracted servers;
Software to encrypt collected data;
Protection against unauthorized access;
Authorized access only to specific persons to the place where your personal information is stored, provided that such access is essential to the development of the intended activity;
Confidentiality of professionals who access the information/data;
Applying the appropriate administrative, disciplinary and legal sanctions to employees and persons who misuse their information in violation of this Privacy and Information Security Policy;
Absolute commitment to the principles laid down in the applicable legislation, as well as to the storage and deletion of data, the latter on request;
Access for the Data Subject to all their stored information.
Although we make every effort to preserve your privacy and protect your personal data, it is important for you to know that no transmission of information is completely secure. For this reason, Caminha Advogados cannot fully guarantee that all the information it receives and/or sends will not be subject to unauthorized access by methods designed to obtain information improperly, such as viruses or database intrusions.
In the event of a breach of the data in our custody, we guarantee to make every effort to remedy the consequences of the event.
What are your rights with regard to your Personal Data?
Under the terms of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) - Law no. 13.709/2018, you have the right to: confirmation that we process your Personal Data; access to your Personal Data; correction of Personal Data that is incomplete, inaccurate or out of date; anonymization, blocking or deletion of Personal Data that is unnecessary, excessive or processed in non-compliance with the provisions of the LGPD; portability of your Personal Data to another service or product provider, observing our commercial and industrial secrets, after regulation by the National Data Protection Authority; deletion of Personal Data processed on the basis of your consent, except in the cases of retention of Personal Data provided for in the LGPD; information on who we share your Personal Data with; information on the possibility of not providing your consent and the consequences, where applicable; revocation of your consent to the processing of your Personal Data, when Personal Data is processed on the basis of your consent; opposition to processing that violates the LGPD.

How do we protect your Personal Data?
We have adopted the best technical and administrative practices to protect Personal Data from unauthorized access, destruction, loss, alteration, communication or any form of inappropriate or unlawful processing.
At the same time, no platform is completely secure. If you have any concerns or suspect that your Personal Data is at risk, for example if someone has gained unauthorized access to your Personal Data, please contact us immediately.
Do you need to provide your consent for Caminha Advogados to use Personal Data as described in this Policy?
The LGPD establishes various situations in which the processing of Personal Data is permitted regardless of the consent of the holder of that Personal Data. These are the so-called "legal bases for data processing"
This means that if you choose to use the Platform or are a visitor to our offices, in some cases we may collect and process your Personal Data independently of your consent (if there is a "legal basis" under the LGPD that allows us to do so). In other cases we will ask for your express consent to use your Personal Data.
Third-party website:
As a resource for our Users, we may provide links to other sites on the Internet. Caminha Advogados is not responsible for these websites and contents and does not share, subscribe, monitor, validate or accept the way in which these websites or content storage tools collect, process and transfer your personal and private information. We recommend that you consult the privacy policies of such websites to adequately inform yourself about the use of your personal information by other websites or other tools.
Changes to this Policy:
We may change the provisions of this Policy at our discretion and at any time.
Whenever we materially change this Policy, such changes will be valid, effective and binding after: (i) being posted on the Caminha Advogados website; (ii) being sent by e-mail to Users; and/or (iii) being communicated in any other way to Users.
The User must check the updated version of this Policy every time they visit the Platform or are one of our Visitors.
